I think spirituality exists mostly in art and in music, and the last place you’re gonna find it is religion. I think church has very little to do with spirituality. I think it’s something you have to find in yourself. It’s about expressing your deepest fears and your emotions and putting in something. It’s not about living in fear and praying and hoping you’re not gonna go to hell. That’s not very spiritual to me.

Beautiful on so many levels.
This morning’s post is going to be short and sweet. At first, I really couldn’t put into words what an awe-inspiring setting this music video for Bon Iver’s “Holocene”was. I didn’t want to write down my thoughts and emotions because I feared they couldn’t even begin to describe the intense theme and scenes playing out before my eyes.
I managed, not much, but it was something.
